Best barbell for the money

Barbell came with a lot of surface rust, but with a wire brush drill attachment and 3-in-1 it came off just fine. The knurling isn't too aggressive and the collars have a good amount of spin to them.

Best Power bar for price

Overall you can’t beat this power bar for the money. It’s knurl is great for heavy deads and the extended center knurl really locks the bar to my back on squats. I also really like the thin comp. style collars. The only negative was it came with a layer of rust over the knurl. This was easily cleaned with 3-1 oil and a brush but took some time. Just wipe it down with 3-1 oil monthly and it stays good as new.

Barenaked barbell 2.0

I had resigned myself to barely upgrading my cheap CAP bar that FedEx bent until I found this bar. I was a little skeptical, but reviews got me to click buy. I am very glad I did...this bar is great! The knurling is more aggressive than I am used to, but I'm fairly new to lifting. The grip is amazing though, and my hands should get used to it. The shipping container was perfect...UPS couldn't even destroy it! To my surprise, BoS applied a discount code to my order that I didn't know about and informed me that I could choose a free gift with my that is customer service! I'll be checking BoS for anything I need in the future, and if they make it I'll be buying here.

Extremely Underrated Barbell

I just received it today, so it is barely broken in. There was rust on the bar, which is what I expected, and cleaned it up in 5 minutes. Love the bare steel as it doesn't interfere with the knurling at all. Speaking of knurling, this bar has pretty aggressive knurling, I'd say in between an ohio power bar and texas deadlift bar. It was a joy to bench with. Some other things I would like to share of why I love this bar is: 1. No paying for "premium" coatings that are usually a rip off 2. The knurling is perfect 3. The competition style collars 4. The ribbed sleeves 5. The end caps and the logo on the inside of the collars. It's just a beautiful bar, and it is unbelievable for the price that BoS is selling it for. The first time I used one I knew I had to get one for myself, this bar definitely turns heads. I plan on doing a lot more business here, because this is a company that should be propped up further, BoS flies under the radar so much in the United States, I'd love to see them grow, so I will vote with my wallet.

Great Performing Bar. Shenandoah Powerhouse Favorite!

I waited more than 3 months to review the Barenaked Powerlifting Bars we purchased for the club. I wanted to be sure that the bars held up to the heavy lifting and daily abuse our lifters can dish. THE ANSWER IS YES. Hands down, the Barenaked Powerlifting Bar is the favorite for heavy squatting. The agressive center knurl, ribbed shaft and rigid construction keep the bar solid and predictable regardless of the load. It took a few members a while to get used to the knurl, but after a couple of squat sessions, the bar's performance won them over.

A revolutionary powerlifting bar at an affordable price.

The B.o.S. Powerlifting Bar is the best Powerlifting bar you can get for under $300. A bold claim, I know, so here’s why having this bar in your gym will put you on a gainz train to muscleville.

The Specs
Designed explicitly for powerlifting and to meet IPF specs, it is intended for people who’s three favourite words are bench, squat and deadlift.

An aggressive knurl with a bare steel finish gives you a superior grip and will prepare and callous your hands for meet day.

With a 210K PSI tensile strength, 1,500lb weight capacity and snap ring design, the Barenaked powerlifting bar is tough enough for both novice and world-class powerlifters

A thinner block allows for more plates to be loaded onto the bar and less whip, while the ribbed shaft helps prevent plates from shifting while lifting.

A powerlifting barbell differs from an Olympic weightlifting barbell in that it is more rigid to better accommodate the heavier weights. Our power bar is 1mm thicker than the Olympic weightlifting bar and has slightly different markings on the bar. Power bars do not have needle bearing and instead have brass bushing as they don’t really need for the sleeves to spin so freely as they do on Olympic bars.

Please note: being bare steel barbell we take extra precautions to reduce any small oxidization while in storage/transit by coating the barbell in oil. Even still, tiny spots may be visible when receiving. We advise to clean the bar with a microfiber cloth and some simple green cleaner and remove any spots with a BBQ brush.
