The machine is fine, good quality steel and welds…Belt squatting is a bit of an acquired taste for anyone accustomed to conventional barbell squats… Mounting and dismounting is a bit of a nuisance, it would be nice if that issue could be engineered out of the equation… It will take several workouts before you find your sweet-spot with the machine, as well as belt placement on the body… The belt must be just on top of your butt…. There should have been grab-handles on either side of the uprights and height adjustable having the uprights taller… The weight loading attachments must be vertical, otherwise the 45 lb plates will hit the floor before you reach the bottom of exercise… All that said, it’s nice not have the weight bearing down on my back, as it does with barbell squats and the next day squat hang-over and body stiffness… If you’re over 40, and been lifting for a couple of decades, you’ll know what I mean…
As for other exercises that can be done with the machine e.g. curls, rows, tricep extensions … Well these are a bit of an advertising stretch from my perspective, as this machine moves on a lever and these exercise movements don’t lend themselves to such movement. You’ll know what I mean if you try them.
Overall I’m satisfied with its intended purpose, squatting
