From pain-free squats to insane quad pumps, the Belt Squat Machine does it all — without loading your torso or spine.

Whether you want to build your quads to squat more (or just be able to squat, period), this back-friendly Belt Squat Machine will actually have you excited for leg day.

Benefits of the Belt Squat Machine

  • ZERO SPINAL LOADING
Barbell back squats are great, but back issues and upper-body injuries can leave you doing diddly-squat for months (or years)… until now! This belt squat machine transfers the load from your back onto your hips, so you can squat with ZERO spinal loading or upper body involvement. But don’t take our word for it; a research study using a similar lever-style belt squat machine found that “Belt squats may be a suitable alternative to back squats in order to avoid stressing low back or trunk musculature.” So, grab your squat shoes and belt up. It’s time to squat heavy again!
  • BUILD YOUR QUADS
If you want a huge squat, you need strong quads (source). And to target them effectively, you need to squat deep enough. So, it makes us pull our hair out when we see belt squat machines that don’t even let you squat to parallel (SERIOUSLY, whyyy?!) But with our Belt Squat Machine, the plate pegs (weight horns) can be mounted vertically, so your weight plates don’t bottom out on the floor before you go ATG. The platform also has a center cut-out to allow the middle beam another couple inches of depth, letting you squat deep enough that you’ll finish your set saying, “Oh my QUAD!”
  • REASONABLY PRICED
It’s no surprise that standalone belt squat machines aren’t cheap. Just look at some of our competitors, where you’ll pay at least $2,000… BEFORE shipping fees. Our Belt Squat Machine was made to be the best bang-for-your-buck option — intelligently designed while still being affordable enough for home gym enthusiasts. But if you’d prefer something compact and more economical, no biggie! You’ll probably dig the Belt Squat Lever Arm Rack Attachment.

More AWESOME features of the Belt Squat Machine.

Built Like A Tank

This belt squat machine is built like a tank and boasts an impressive 700lb capacity. Its 264lb weight, 11-gauge steel frame, fully-welded platform and 3mm thick top make it stable enough to use as a standalone unit. So when leg day rolls around, you’ll be ready to go to war 💪🏻

Highly Versatile Machine

This belt squat machine was specifically built for belt squats (duh), but it’s actually a one-stop (exercise) shop. From deadlifts to split squats and rows to bicep curls, the amount of movements you can do is only limited by your creativity. For ultra-creative souls, check out our Cable Tower.

Better Than DIY Setups

There’s no shortage of DIY belt squat setups that save money. But beyond the cost savings, a standalone belt squat machine will beat almost every DIY version. The setup is faster, the movement is safer, and the gains are more transferrable to back squatting — it’s a win-win-win.

Adjustable To Your Liking

The j-cups have 13 adjustable heights to fit a variety of lifters. Add some resistance bands to the band pegs for more tension. You can mount the plate pegs horizontally for easier plate unloading or vertically to reduce the overall machine width by 28.5″ (#spacegainzzz).

Excellent Machine

Amazing quad stimulus with this machine. I love that I now have a squat movement that I can safely push to failure at home and removes one of the reasons I missed the gym (leg machines). I have no problem giving this machine a 10/10. The value you get for your money is excellent. The one and only Con would be that the packages arrived in really bad condition. Without even cutting the plastic straps holding the boxes together I was able to reach in and physically remove two loose bolts which had escaped their internal packaging. No parts were missing but that was pure luck. the boxes each weight 100 pounds so its natural that they are difficult to ship but when you spend 1000 dollars on something I would like to hope it arrives without looking like it went through a war zone.

Good product

First the positives. I like that I can go full depth on the squats and even safely go to failure. Also like that you can add band resistance and do RDLs, rows etc. only have two negatives. The support arm barely clears the lever and you have to hold it. Doing exercises other than squat where you are holding an attachment you have to use a band to keep the support out of the way. I feel like the support should come farther forward and stay put on its own. Also when unpacked the base had a small dimple dent. Tiny but I notice it every time I use it. The way that it was packed no chance it occurred during shipping. Overall great product for the price

Great machine

We are absolutely thrilled with this machine. Amazing for squats, Romanian dead lifts, calves, rows, shrugs, etc. I run a farm which requires lots of daily manual work, and we love having a versatile machine that enables great lower body workouts without so much wear and tear on the joints. I can train more often and with more volume thanks to this machine. And the versatility means it gets used almost every session, upper or lower body.

Although advertised for home we placed this in our studio and all our clients have absolutely loved this. Not only useful for squats but also accommodating for other exercises and greatly helps they have a YouTube video with the set up. A must for everyone looking taking their fitness to the next level.

Looks better than it performs

As a gym owner, I purchased this with high hopes of attaining a valuable belt squat addition for the gym. I’ll get right to the point- the machine is extremely difficult to get into. It’s not designed for all abilities as a result of this. The height that you can adjust the machine to, to make it easier for you to get into, leaves you stuck and unable to unrack the weight to begin your set… so you’re stuck having to get in a very uncomfortable position to even get the belt on. This machine needs to be redesigned. I have used many belt squat machines and most of them allow you to load weight out in front of you, whereas this one- as you can see the weight distribution is out to the sides. It almost feels like the quads are more engaged than anything else. I’d recommend going with Arsenal if you had to pick a better belt squat brand. The steel is good quality, but the paint must not have been applied on multiple layers as it’s already beginning to rust one year in.
