The uprights on the Hydra 3″ x 3″ Wall Mounted Power Rack measure true 3″ x 3″, which is exactly 76.2mm x 76.2mm with 5/8″ holes.
*Remember that the front edges of the upright base plates extend by 2.5″, the uprights are each 3″ deep, the stringers add 1″ of depth, and the wall connectors are 13″ long — resulting in a total 52.5″ or 65.5″ depth.
The Hydra 3″ x 3″ Wall Mounted Power Rack weighs a minimum of 250lbs when the shortest uprights & cross-pieces are selected with no attachments.
When bolted securely to a wall with the rack’s feet firmly on the floor, the Hydra 3″ x 3″ Wall Mounted Power Rack’s weight capacity is 1,000lbs.
The steel thickness on the Hydra 3″ x 3″ Wall Mounted Power Rack is 11-gauge/2.9mm.
Only attachments designed to fit true 3″ x 3″ uprights are guaranteed to fit on the Hydra 3″ x 3″ Power Rack – 4 Post. Attachments for uprights that measure 75mm x 75mm (often labeled as 3″ x 3″ but are based on the metric system and are actually 2.95″ x 2.95″) will NOT fit on the Hydra rack.
To assemble the Hydra 3″ x 3″ Wall Mounted Power Rack, you need two 24mm wrenches (not included by default). Correctly sized box-end, adjustable & socket wrenches are suitable alternatives.

CAI have just a 2 post wall mounted 84” uprights rack, it goes in my basement which has 87” ceilings so it fits perfectly. The construction is solid, like the spacing of the holes, and ability to add addons. I would say the wall mounting stingers are very solid, with the weight of the posts I barely needed 4 3” bolts into the wood studs, obviously more is better. A couple notes: one they ship you studs for concrete, so I had to go to Home Depot and get them for wood studs. 2nd I would suggest mounting the rack without tightening the bolts before putting in the stingers and wall supports, it seems like there could be a more more tolerance for the wall attachements. I also found that overall the instructions are sparse for this specific (ie wall mounted) rack
