IMPORTANT: The Hydra Seal Row Pad is ONLY compatible with our Hydra racks & true 3″ x 3″ uprights with 5/8″ holes.
If you’re working out in the equivalent space of a bedroom closet, then the Hydra Seal Row Pad was literally made for you. Once you’re done with it, just pull the pin to fold it down and then insert the pin through the lowest hole of the angle selector wheel. And when folded down for storage, it sits just 9.5″ off the rack. Oh, and it makes a GREAT seat between sets (not that we’d know…)
A common workaround for seal rows is to use an adjustable bench on an incline setting. But here’s the issue: benches move, the pad gets in the way, and your legs often end up with a weird frog-like stance. But with the Hydra Seal Row Pad, the attachment stays fixed in place, your implements can move freely up to your chest, and you can actually stand like a human being — how ribbiting!
We’ve seen homemade versions of the Hydra Seal Row Pad made on the cheap, all the way up to competitors charging over $350 — which, for a piece of steel and padding, seems a little overkill. We’re not here to deter a handyperson from building a DIY version, but if digging out a circular saw & protractor ain’t your thing… this ready-made attachment might be a more appealing option 😉
They said, “Don’t reinvent the wheel.” So, we didn’t. This Hydra Seal Row Pad has the same angle selector wheel design as our Sliding Lever Arms. But don’t let its simplicity fool you! The selector wheel lets you choose from 7 different angles and when combined with the dozens of holes along your uprights, offers hundreds of possible positions to give you a truly customized fit.
The width of the pad is 12″ across the top. The width then tapers down to 10″ — just before the edges begin to curve inward at the bottom of the pad.

The total weight capacity of the Hydra Seal Row Pad (including the lifter’s bodyweight while leaning against it) is 500lbs.
The steel thickness used on the Hydra Seal Row Pad is 11-gauge/2.9mm.
The distance between the welded pin & locking hole on the bracket of the Hydra Seal Row Pad is 6.0″ (centre-on-centre).
Removing the Hydra Seal Row Pad from a power rack is easy. Just pull out the rear locking pin, then twist the unit sideways for the bracket to clear the upright & slide it off the upright.
The Hydra Seal Row Pad sticks out 9.5″ off the rack when folded for storage.
When positioned parallel to the floor, the Hydra Seal Row Pad sticks out by 26.25″.
It’s possible. The bracket & welded pin of the Hydra Seal Row Pad are designed to be compatible with true 3″ x 3″ uprights with 5/8″ holes, with 6″ of distance (centre-on-centre) between the welded pin & rear locking pin hole. Securing the rear locking pin is recommended, but if your rack’s uprights are not true 3″ x 3″ uprights with 5/8″ holes, then this attachment will NOT fit.

USThis fits my RML half rack like a glove and the uhmw is greatly appreciated. The pad is firm and comfortable with a nice cover. While being a rather heavy rack accessory I am still able to place and remove from my rack without much effort. A big plus when using it on a half rack. I will definitely consider BoS for any future purchases

USI bought this attachment because I saw BOS made the Hydra line which is compatible with true 3x3 uprights. I honestly couldn’t be happier with my purchase and have since started buying more products from BOS due to their Hydra line, their quality of service, free shipping, and decent products for the price point. I really enjoy using this attachment for chest supported rows and even as a pseudo incline bench. I’m honestly surprised at how well it’s built considering the price point and would highly recommend it over other products that do the same thing and cost significantly more.
