Benefits of the Hydra Monolift

  • NO SPOTTER NEEDED
    When going for a PR, every morsel of energy matters. And just like our Monolift Attachment, the Hydra Monolift allows you to unrack a loaded barbell from your j-cups without needing a spotter. Simply set up on your bench, pull the loaded bar towards your chest while it’s resting in the monolift arms, then extend your elbows for a seamless lift-off. And after you crush your PR, remember to dust the chalk off your shoulder like the champ you are.
  • 2-IN-1 FUNCTIONALITY
    The Hydra Monolift actually features a unique 2-in-1 design. Think of it as a love child between a set of monolift arms and roller j-cups. The monolift arms have a set of springs to cause them to auto-magically “snap back” into the housing immediately after you unrack your bar. But we couldn’t stop there. We added not one, but TWO nylon rollers to the arms: a large one in the middle and a second at the inner lip. This allows your barbell to be moved side-to-side with buttery smoothness, and the second roller makes it a better choice than those from most of our competitors.
  • LOW-PROFILE DESIGN
    Regular monolift attachments are great and all, but they can be heavy and a bit unwieldy. The Hydra Monolift on the other hand is like a low-profile sports car. When mounted, each sits just 10.5″ off the rack, so you have more room inside your rack — especially useful for those rocking a narrow 24″ set of crossmembers for their rack depth. And when combined with their modest 18.5lb weight, this makes them easier to adjust and move. Plus, it’s just comforting to NOT have that protruding counterbalance arm… maybe it’s the brain cells you’ll save from not hitting your noggin’.
